This year's Turopolje Mile is driven by the motto “Get to know Turopolje Better,” aiming to bring cyclists closer to the natural and cultural assets that descend in the plains, hills, and forests of Turopolje.
The goal of this year’s race is to encourage as many participants from different age groups who are active cyclists, especially those from Zagreb County and Turopolje. The race also hopes to encourage cyclists from different parts of Croatia to join.
Schedule of events:
• 08:00 gathering, registration, and distribution of numbers in front of Cafe Bamboo, Pleška 38
• 09:30 brief introduction of the route
• 10:00 start of cycling race
• 10:45 arrival at the first stop (Lukavec Castle, Lukavec),
• 12:15 arrival to the second stop (Western Ranch Cowboy, Markuševec Turopoljski),
• 14:00 arrival at the third stop (DVD Šiljakovina, Šiljakovina),
• 15:30 arrival at the fourth stop (O.Š. Kuče, Kuće)
• 16:30 arrival to the goal and socializing in front of the cafe bar Bambus, Pleška 38, with a fun entertainment program. Everyone is invited to join until the end of the program
Bicycle route: Start: Velika Gorica (caffe bar Bambus, Pleška 38) – Gradići – Lukavec - Markuševec Turopoljski – Gudci – Kostanjevec – Šiljakovina – Mala Buna – Mraclin – Kuče – Donje Podotočje – Jagodno – Novo Čiče – Velika Gorica (caffe bar Bambus, Pleška 38)

1. Castle Lukavec, (Lukavec)
2. Western Ranch Cowboy, (Markuševec Turopoljski)
3. Kostanjevec - short stop of 10 minutes maximum
4. DVD Šiljakovina (Šiljakovina)
5. O.Š. Kuče (Kuče)

For all participants of Turopolje Mile, there will be refreshments at all points (fruit and water), and at the very end of the event, all participants will enjoy a meal of local cuisine. The VG TUR TEAM Association has provided a large number of awards this year, which will take place at the raffle at the end of the event.

On-line registration is possible until June 30, 2017. After this date, you can register on the day of the bicycle race until 09:30.
In the case of bad weather, the bicycle will be delayed for 7 days.
The VG TUR TEAM Association has provided escorts of police, firefighters, security, and medical aids throughout the ride - your safety is the most important!
