Bakar is located just 15 kilometers from Rijeka in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.
The Bakar Bike allows cycling to experience the variety, spaciousness and attractiveness of the Bakar area, with a new route announced for the event every year. Over the previous four years, the route has moved from Bakar, to Hreljina, Zlobina and Kukuljanova. This year, the route will take cyclists on a ride to the foot of Risnjak.
Applications and gathering of participants will begin at 9:00 at Gornje Jelenje. Cycling towards Risnjak will begin at 10:00.
All cycling enthusiasts can expect 2 roundabouts:
DUŽA(Jelenje - Platak - Cajtige - M. Vodica - Jelenje) - 30 km
KRAĆA (G. Jelenje - M. Vodica - G. Jelenje) - 18 km
This year, there will even be a competitive spirit, and those who ride the fastest will be crowned the King and Queen of the Hill.

This year's Bakar Bike is jointly organized by the Bakar Tourist Board, Promotiv Travel Outdoor and BBK Team Rodeo.
NOTE: All participants in the Bakar Bike 2017 will be responsible for themselves. Helmets are mandatory.
