If you are a cyclist there is one thing that inevitably happens to every cyclist, a flat tyre.

Ah, the Adriatic. It’s captivating and stunningly beautiful. Have you ever wanted to explore the Croatian coast and experience it for yourself? Cruising the thousand plus islands, like Hvar, Krk, Brač and Korčula and stopping in at one of the many charming seaside towns like Bol, Mali Lošinj, Cres, and Jelsa, it’s one of those memorable experiences that will stay with you forever. For those of us that have a passion for cycling wouldn’t it be nice to combine both cruising the Adriatic with exploring each of the destinations on two wheels?

The island of Pag is one of stunning contrasting landscapes, with the eastern side of the island dry rocky with very little vegetation in contrast to the green pastures of central Pag around Kolan, where you'll find sheep grazing and the famous Gligora Dairy and their world famous Paški cheese. 

On the 9th of July the 5th annual Like for Bike, Toplička Biciklijada will be held in Varaždin Toplice. Organised by the Toplička Youth Association the like for bike event has grown in popularity and has become an important social cycling event in the region. This 32km bike route takes you through the rolling hills of Zagorje and is designed to be a fun cycling event for people of all ages. The route all on sealed roads and there are a couple of scheduled stops for cyclists to take a break, enjoy the scenery and socialise with fellow cyclists.

At the end of the journey, all biciklijada participants will be rewarded with a special presentation called "Aqua Dirt Jam" where some of Europes best BMX riders, including Red Bulls Marin Ranteš will perform for the crowd.

Summer is here, which in Croatia means all you cyclists from around Europe who have been eagerly waiting, like cages animals, to put some miles on your bikes are now making your way to Hrvatska for your cycling vacation.

It is that time of year again - "ŠIC NA BIC", the popular cycling race held in Novi Marof. A small picturesque town halfway from Zagreb to Varaždin will held another popular "biciklijada" on July 2, 2016.

We all agree that cycling is fun, a great form of exercise and one the best ways to explore Croatia. But there is a serious side to cycling and if you are not careful cycling can be hazardous.

The commanding Velebit Mountains are the natural divide between continental and coastal Croatia. It's Croatia's largest Mountain range and is 150km long an average of 14km wide, and starts in Senj and heads southwest to Knin and near the source of the Zrmanja River.

When it comes to any form of tourism, Istria has always been at the cutting edge and led the way in Croatia.
