Krapinsko Zagorska Country or Zagorje for short is a magical place between Zagreb and Slovenija with the Medvednica Moutain and forests bordering it on the south and the Ivanscica Mountain to the north.

“Beciklinom” along the Drava Plains and the hills of Bilogora and Kalnik is the tagline of what Koprivnica and Krizevci County offers to cyclists. A 500-year-old military fort, Karlovac is surrounded by hundreds of legends and myths. The Brod-Posavina County is home to the sixth largest Croatian city - Slavonski Brod, which is located on the banks of the idyllic Sava River and borders with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bjelovar-Bilogora County sits in the centre of Croatia and became a prominent settlement around 1756 when a fort was erected to defend the area against the Turkish invasion.
