On Saturday, January 14th, the first term of “Biciklopopravljaonica” will be held in Split.

At the foot of Motovun, in the immediate vicinity of the ambulance, a 'Bike Point' or station for cyclists and all active tourists has been completed. The area in which the ‘Bike Point’ has been implemented is a very busy location that also has, among other things, cycling tracks.

The Split-Dalmatia County now has 3.5 thousand kilometres of bike routes, with another 1.5 thousand planned next year. The County is on its way to an annual income of 5 to 10 million euro from cyclotourism

The Tour of Croatia is an important stepping stone in developing cycling tourism.

The UCI Downhill World Cup is looking to branch out a bit in terms of venue locations, with bids from Maribor and the Croatian island of Lošinj currently on the table for 2018.

The Tourist Board of Vodice in November has expanded their network of bicycle paths in the area, now totaling to 10 cycling paths.
