Velika Gorica is the largest and most populous city in Zagreb County. The name of the city is translated literally (in the Kajkavian dialect) to Big Vineyard as Velika Gorica was traditionally known as a wine producing region since ancient times.
Over the weekend, Cycling Club Velika Gorica (Biciklistički klub Velika Gorica) took a plunge for a ride in -2 degree temperatures. While the weather outside may have been everything but enjoyable, these photos from their cycle sure make up for it.
