Nippy Adventures is calling all cyclists to transport back to the times of famous Croatian poet Petar Preradović with a bicycle tour to his birthplace in Virovitica on Saturday, September 30, 2017.
Precisely, in Pitomača, participating cyclists will try the excellent wines of the Bilogora region and the old dishes of Podravina at the 15th Fair of Traditional Gastronomy and Heritage, all while exploring the cracks and crevices of Preradović’s life.
There will, as expected, be dancing, singing and a play by cultural and artistic societies, all coupled with the sounds of symbols, violins and drums by the musicians of Podravina.
The registration fee for the bike tour is 80 HRK. The fee includes a wine tasting and a snack at the "Vineda" winery, a visit to the birthplace of Petar Preradović, a wine glass, a wooden fork and a bowl for meals and drinks at the event.
This bicycle tour is the result of excellent cooperation between the Pitomača Tourist Board (Discover Pitomača - Embrace Podravina & Slavonia), the travel agency Boho Travel Art and the portal for promoting cyclotourism Nippy Adventures.
