The main objectives of the forum is to present Croatia as a destination for cycling tourism in all its aspects according to a German media expert who will be present at the forum, reports HRTurizam on January 31, 2017.
"So far we have registered about 20 professional journalists and bloggers from Germany, who we will host over four days through Kvarner and Istria to destinations presented as bike destinations ie. for cycling tourism,” says director Sascha Wiese, who adds that the only real goal is to brand the region as a destination for cycling and that it is necessary to round up the whole tourism product - not only make bike paths.
In addition to the pioneers of cycle tourism in Croatia, the forum will be attended by many travel writers, journalists based on trekking, E or mountain-biking, many media bloggers from German-speaking countries and of course everyone who is invited and decides to be a part of this event.
In addition to lectures and examples of good practice in the development of cycling tourism, the organizer has a desire to make a comprehensive Croatian bike catalog.
“The catalog will be exposed to many trade fairs throughout the world in the future, helping us all to reach the common goal, and that is Croatia's emergence as bike destination in the world of cyclists. Our wish is that more people sign up for the catalog so it will be completely full because only through joint cooperation of all partners and participants of tourism can we achieve success,” concludes Wiese.
