The fair was organized by the German cycling club ADFC which covers the area of Hesse. The exhibition presented 50 tourism organizations and tour operators from Germany and neighboring countries, and between them was the Croatian Tourist Board in Germany. Although the fair was organized on a voluntary basis, it attracted a total of 1,500 people whose primary interest is cycling, reports HRTurizam on March 29, 2017.
The German branch of the Croatian Tourist Board participated for the third time at the fair, and the stand was decorated with motifs from the campaign “Croatia Full of Life“. The Croatian Tourist Board booth presented a large number of informative materials pertinent to cycling in Croatia. Visitors showed great interest for cycling tours throughout the country, but also for other segments of tourism in Croatia.
ADFC is a German cycling club that is represented in more than 450 cities in Germany. The club is actually a non-profit organization with about 150,000 members whose main interest is cycling and promoting the bicycle as a healthy and cheap vehicle for transportation.
