This weekend, Septemberer 3, kicks off the 4th annual Biciklijada (bike ride) in a region which is rising in popularity with riders of all levels.
The race, which is an amateur cyclists race has now grown in popularity to over 350 riders. And, while the name Mali Pariz means small Paris this race looks set to be huge!
This biking project aims to promote the green region of Slavonija as the ideal cycling destination it has become. This non-competitive ride will also showcase the traditional culture, food, music and drinks of the area.
The road race kicks off in the town of Mali Pariz at the parking lot of the Technical school (Eugena Kumičića 55), and the official route is 24.5km long, with a 120m elevation.

Riders all across Europe including Finland, Hungary, France, Italy, Poland, and Germany ar set to be in the Brod-Posavina County for this ride.
Missed the race? Never fear, the region is located on the banks of the idyllic Sava River and borders with Bosnia and Herzegovina and while city centre has rows of baroque buildings, the town of Županja, has developed the Golden Thread Road (Cesta zlatne niti).
Along with well-defined cycling paths, the area offers up foodies top Slavonian cuisine and plum brandy.
