In order to further develop and improve the positioning of Istria as a cycling destination, the charging station was fully funded by the Tourist Board of Istria County, reports HRTurizam on July 14, 2017.
The project was created in cooperation with the Tourist Board of Central Istria, the municipality of Gračišće, the company Bosch which provided the electric chargers, and the world giant in the production of bicycles "CUBE" which the Tourist Board of Istria has successfully cooperated with for the last four years. The new E-bike station was design by Studio Dota from Žminj, while the manufacturer was UTE - Uljanik TESU Elektronika d.o.o.
During the next week, the chargers for the increasingly popular electric bicycles will be set up at two more locations, in the locations of Cerovlje and Tinjan, which will meet the electronic bicycle needs of the guests staying or visiting the areas.
