The Rapha Women's 100 is an international cycling event where thousands of women around the world cycle for 100 kilometers. It is not a competition to see who is the fastest, but an opportunity to participate in a global cycling adventure! Last year’s event in Zagreb's saw 85 women who joined the competition with over 8,000 others around the world from 40 countries.
The 100-kilometer route: Zagreb – Ivanja Reka - Rugvica – Obedišće Ježevsko - Prečec - Kloštar Ivanić "Stari mlin klet" - Ivanić Grad - Topolje - Rugvica - Ivanja Reka - Zagreb. The route is mainly on lowland with one long climb in Kloštar Ivanić. The ride is mostly on asphalt but has about 7 kilometers of gravel road.
Cyclists can rest for 10 minutes every hour, and there will be a lunch break in Kloštar Ivanić for approximately 1.5 hours. The expected maximum travel speed is around 20 km / h.
The 40 HRK participation fee includes:
- lunch (beans) in Kloštar Ivanić "Old Mill tavern" http://starimlin-klet.hr/
- welcome drink
- water at all seven stops
- start number
- accompaniment (service vehicle)
Registration will begin at 7:00 in the parking lot of the Bauhaus in Žitnjak
Departure is at 8:00 and it is recommended that everyone arrive 30 minutes early to register.
It is recommended that cyclists bring at least one spare inner tube for their bike.
Children under 18 may participate accompanied by parents. Wearing a helmet is recommended for everyone, and is compulsory for children. Be sure to bring enough water and a snack. Sunglasses and sunscreen highly recommended!
