Gran Fondo is a cycling race created for the bike-community in Zagreb. Organized in accordance with the rules of the professional world of cycling, the Gran Fondo in Zagreb is modeled according to similar marathon races around the globe.
The Facebook page for the race states that the Gran Fondo has the form of a competition with timing, organized support, secured routes, medical and mechanical support and that the race is "a place where amateurs can race against professional cyclists, promote a healthy lifestyle and the culture of cycling."
While registration is not until April 1, 2017, we thought we'd help get you pumped for the event, and most importantly let you know to begin training now!
