Tour of Croatia is a sporting event that connects 12 cities over six days, giving interested parties an opportunity to get to know the cycling stars while becoming an important part of the race - and hey, you’ll even get a unique insight behind the scenes. This year's edition of the international cycling race will be held April 18 to 23 in 6 stages throughout Croatia, and the details of the route will be revealed soon, reports HRTurizam on February 18, 2017.
Volunteering is a unique opportunity for all cycling enthusiasts and those who wish to be one. Through volunteering, you will acquire new knowledge and skills in a dynamic environment, but also meet new people, make new relationships, and most importantly have a good time.
Those interested in volunteering can join the team of volunteers depending on where you live. Cities, towns and locations that are looking for volunteers include Osijek, Koprivnica, Ludbreg, Trogir, Makarska, Imotski, Zadar, Crikvenica, Umag, Poreč, Učka, Rijeka, Opatija, Samobor and Zagreb. Applications will be accepted until March 31, and the application form with detailed instructions can be filled out here.
A total of 420 volunteers (70 on each leg) will be selected who must pass a training session. All of the volunteer requirements will be written in the volunteer booklet. The organizers will provide volunteers with food, drinks, a TOC 2017 t-shirt, a massive thank you and unforgettable experience.
All information on the race can be found on www.tourofcroatia.com and the official Facebook page.
