A share of the street Ivana Mestrovica from Basaričekova to Šenoine will further expand the Koprivnica cycling network, which was announced yesterday by deputy mayor Mišel Jakšić at the start of the construction, reports Drava-info.hr.
“Given the fact that we are planning to have a self-contained network of hiking and cycling trails in our town, this work helps us to complement that. We're constructing a new bicycle path with a distance of about 220 meters,” Jakšić added.

The new two-way cycle track will be located on the south side of the street between the existing footpaths and pavements, to the green area which will be transplanted elsewhere, says Jakšić.
The City Administration believes that the work should be completed within four weeks. The construction of the bike paths in the part of Mestrovica street will cost 173,000 kuna from the budget VAT.
