A few days after more than 300 riders departed from Koprivnica, a continental, Pannonian town in Croatia saw its new bike decorations. Decorative flower pots shaped like bicycles and are in the place of old plain concrete boxes. These new bike pots were set up at the entrance to the farmer’s market, and it appears they’re quite flexible. Built from stainless steel and painted in dark grey and can be rotated to open the path for service vehicles.
Bikes hold baskets created from coconut bark and the workers have planted orange – red geraniums and petunias, ivy and incense. What is probably the best part of these themed flower pots is that they’ve been approved by the conservation department and were recommended as a typical element in the cultural-historical core of Koprivnica.
