Route description:
Start and finish of this route are next to Park Shop Centre in Imotski with free parking. After this the route heads west toward Blue and Red Lakes. After the main lookouts on the asphalt road, turn right onto gravel toward the lookout on the north side of Blue Lake. The route heads onward to Glavnine Donje and on asphalt again to Grabovo family farm and Gornji Prološac, the highest point of the route (670m). Further on comes an asphalt descent to the Green Lake and dam. Before the dam next to the Franjo Tuđman statue is a source of fresh water. At the dam head left onto 2 km of asphalt ascent to Knezovići. At Knezovići turn to Lokvičići and descend via asphalt road to Imotski valley. Further on gravel head to the source of Vrljika with a lovely park with a “Green Cathedral.” Across from the park is a narrow path that leads to two small lakes. From the Vrljika source take the road to the starting point. The route can be extended by taking the gravel road along Vrljika for 11 km.
