Route description:
This route begins in Mokro Polje village next to the Orthodox church, followed by a couple of kilometres of asphalt road over a small bridge over Zrmanja. After 4 kilometres comes a turn where you switch to gravel, the most demanding part of this route. At 10 kilometres there is a 440 metre ascent on a poor road and demanding terrain. After the peak come a descent on an also demanding section which requires great concentration. This part of the route is full of valleys with sheep flocks, but also sheep dogs so be careful. After passing through Jariće village we descend down a slightly better gravel road to the main road and continue on asphalt to the source of Zrmanja river. Follow the course of the river and at the 35th kilometre join back with the main road and follow it to Mokro Polje. At 40 kilometres turn right onto gravel followed by a climb and then a descent to the starting point on hard gravel. Be careful of weather conditions in the winter and the possibility of encountering wild animals.
