Route description:
Part of this route is used for the now traditional mountain cycling marathon “Vransko Lake,” organised by the tourism board of Pakoštane. Start is near the chapel outside Vrana village alongside Vransko lake. From the chapel take the gravel southeast. Follow the gravel and at the turn descend right to the lake. Follow the gravel along the lake shore to the first large crossing. At the crossing uphill to the lookout. Turn left and left again up the asphalt road all the way to the lookout which has an imposing view of Vransko lake and Kornati islands in the back. This is the only demanding ascent on the route. Return is the same way to the lake. From there follow the gravel to the channel which connects the lake and the sea. Follow the channel to the Adriatic main road. Take the road west. At the 29th kilometre turn right onto gravel towards the lake. From there follow the path along the lake to the connection road Pakoštane-Vrana. Go right along the road to the chapel.
