Route description:
Start in Jabuka village, near the main road Trilj-Kamensko, right next to the sculpture titled Mladenci (newlyweds). Parking is also here. Drive along the road to Grab. In Grab turn right into the village and through it to the source of the river Grab. After the source uphill where mountain cycling begins. Take the gravel road to the asphalt road that leads to Podi village. At the first intersection right, at the next left. Straight on without any turns. The road will turn into a dirt road heading west. At the end you will reach a chapel and flag overlooking Ruda village (the serpentines below are in view). From the flag go uphill east and follow the path to the cattle herder villages below the hill. Below the houses and below the fence (small single track and small hike section) go west and finally take the road to the pipeline. The pipeline is quite visible and dominates the scenery so it can’t be missed. The pipeline brings water to the Livno valley and Buško lake for the hydroelectric plant Orlovac in Ruda. Go under the pipeline and the road north to Donja Korita. Through the village and right onto gravel heading east and entering a stream. On the field along the stream, before the canyon, turn left onto a single track that climbs to plateau heading to Gornja Korita. This single track is not driveable uphill so this is a hiking and bike carrying section. When on top and past the rocks, there is again a gravel road to Gornja Korita. The gravel goes all the way to the source which is right in the middle of the road. From here you can hike to the Konj peak, but that’s another opportunity. Take the same gravel back, but now follow it due north (to the right). Once past the fields take the gravel left into Donja Korita. There is an option here: if you take this road to Gornja Korita and return via a slope there is a remarkable downhill on a rock creep. Through Donja Korita to the right across fields onto a gravel road leading into Otok. This way to the local road Otok-Sinj. Off that road left to the source of Ovrlje. After the source take the road or pine forest to Ruda. Do not head into Ruda straight via the road but right across fields and under pine trees close to Ruda river. Further on via a dirt road along Ruda river to the bridge and left on the road to Grab. Take the road to Grab and on to Jabuka to the finish of this route.
