You’ve arrived to the old baroque town of Požega. In the heart of Slavonia at the altitude of 152 metres lies the county centre, Požega. As such, Požega town has a long history and culture reaching into the middle ages, 11th century, making it interesting to travellers and tourists.

Požega today has kept its medieval street routes, with a dominant medieval square created at the intersection of four access routes (largest medieval square in Croatia), settled directly beneath the northern hills of Požeška Gora. North of the square to the former Stone Gate (toppled in the 19th century) were three characteristic parallel streets of which the middle one (Cehovska-Sv.Florijan) and west one (Županijska) remain as well as a part of the east one along the baroque square of St. Terezija.

This bike route will take you through the northwest area of Požega town, through wonderful nature, wheat fields, oak forests, fruit orchards... Riding your bike, you will arrive to the Zlatni Lug restaurant, where you can enjoy Slavonian delicacies and stay the night.

Further on via an asphalt road and slight ascent you arrive to the eco farm Zlatni Lug where you can rest from cycling, refresh along the fishpond, walk the educational trail or ride your bike around.

Continuing your ride through the Nova Lipa, Stara Lipa, Jaguplije areas you arrive to Skenderovci where the family farm Voćarstvo Boić is, growing and processing apples, producing and selling fruit juices from apples and producing and selling apple chips. Here you can rest and continue on to the main road Požega-Pakrac and arrive to Požeški Brestovac from where you can easily return to Požega via the main road.
