CYCLING EVENT PROGRAMME
The event begins with a gathering at 11:30h in the centre of town and the parking next to Zagrebačka bank in Virovitica.
Start towards Vukosavljevica, 15 km away, is at noon. Arrival to Cellar Vineda is planned at 13h. The newly opened wine tasting room we will try two of their best wines. Along with wine tasting, the hosts will serve cheese, bread and pumpkin oil.
Around 14h we continue toward the birth home of Petar Preradović in Grabrovnica. After a tour of the house, around 15:30 we leave towards the centre of Pitomača located 8 kms away.
In Pitomača we will visit the event “Visiting Old Times” where we can taste dishes from the times of Petar Preradović and experience a piece of the culture of life and work of his time. Every cyclist will receive a commemorative wine glass and wooden spoon to eat with and keep as a souvenir. After the meal, socialising and photographing with a costumed actor playing Petar Preradović, we return at 17:30h via the Drava route to Virovitica.
We invite cyclists who own bicycles older than 20 years to ride them at the event. Everyone on old bikes will receive a vintage photograph as a souvenir, while the owner of the oldest bike will get an interesting prize.

PRICE, REGISTRATION AND DEPOSITS
Price per person is 60 Kuna, which includes:
- tasting of two wines in Vineda Cellar (2 dl of wine, cheese, bread, pumpkin oil)
- visit to the birth house of Petar Preradović
- all you can eat and drink at the “Visiting Old Times” manifestation
- commemorative wine glass and dish as souvenir
- cycling guide
Due to limited space, the number of participants is 60, so first to deposit the fee reserves a spot. The fee is deposited at the account number IBAN: HR7824020061100070774 with the description “For the cycling event” and a copy of transaction sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. SAFETY
Helmets are mandatory for all participants under 16 years of age, recommended for others. All participants join at their own risk. The organiser bears no responsibility for any mishaps during the event. Participants must have a working bicycle and accept the waiver of responsibility.
The entire route is flat, total 63 km with 5 km of gravel.

The organiser is the Tourism Board of Pitomača. Co-organiser is the online portal for the promotion of cyclotourism Nippy Adventures.
