This year for the first time, the Pannonian Challenge in Osijek will be hosting the BMX World Cup Series. Pannonian Challenge has gained international media attention. From the home page of FISE website, “Osijek managed to put itself on the map right next to China, USA, Canada and France, and is proud to announce that in 2016 it will be a part of the FISE World Series and a must-visit place for all the best BMX riders in the world.” It is definitely going to be different as for the first time the BMX Freestyle World Cup is sponsored by UCI. Things are really getting gearing up for a show to remember.
What to expect at the Pannonian Challenge XVII
Extreme sports fans from all around the globe have said Osijek is a great city in building awareness for Extreme sports in Croatia. The Challenge will be held just across the River Drava next to Copacabana. It will be nine days of extreme fun, skateboarding, Inline, BMX, Break-dancing and one big music festival. There is also prize money up for grabs altogether worth 50,000 Euros. The music will be an international venue with some of best known Artist to perform. It’s a good idea to check out accommodations because you cannot see it all in one day.

Music Festival
SThe Music Festival will be huge this year, with a wide variety of style that fits everyone’s groove. Fans will have a great time, and the music will be incredible as the Pannonian Challenge is bringing even bigger names. This year’s headliner is coming from London a band called Modestep. They have made a few albums, with their song hitting the top music charts in the UK. Their style has been compared to Prodigy and Skrillex.

The History of Pannonian Challenge has become legendary to many fans for over 17 years. It is home to Osijek, located across the river Drava. Skate Boarders and BMX sports enthusiast have made it one of the largest Extreme sports known in Croatia.
In 2015 a documentary film was made and released to selected theaters. This year will be with FISE bringing the BMX World Cup series and recognition from Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).
