As part of the festival "Crna Ovca" (black sheep), a cycling event will take cyclists through attractive ascents and descents, dirt and stone roads in the interior with beautiful views of Velebit and the surrounding islands, and a varying landscape that will please everyone. Want to live this dream? Head to Baška on the island of Krk on Saturday, May 13, 2017 to "Bicycle to the Moon"!
Entries for the cycle will be accepted from 9 am in front of the hotel Forza, and cycling will begin at 10 am. Families and friends are invited to ride to the moon for an incredible weekend in this seaside town!

Route description: After beginning in the center of Baška by the waterfront, cyclists can expect a very attractive rise to the lunar plateau with a unique panorama of Baška and the neighboring islands: Prvić, Grgur, and Rab. The route continues along the gravel road on a plateau with beautiful views on Velebit and many stone walls with hidden flocks of sheep. A downhill to Draga Bašćanska will return you to Baška and Vela Rika.
