The Hard Cro race cycles through the four corners of Croatia over 5 days - cycling around 1,400 kilometers in total. The race cycles through the most beautiful parts of Croatia from the south and west to the north and east. The race is limited to 100 cyclists and will be held on June 19, 2017.
During the race, cyclists are fully on their own, with no support along the route for food, equipment, or breaks. The organizers will provide control points in Savudrija and St. Martin (LifeClass Terme Sveti Martin) for participants to take a a short nap, shower, and have lunch.
The race begins in the south in Molunat and ends in the east in Ilok.
The Hard Cro 2016 race proved to be a very successful project, and the only one of its kind in Croatia. The competition was met with great interest from cyclists of various profiles with a growing audience, both in the country and abroad.
The format of the race remains the same as last year, and cyclists are completely autonomous, must choose their own route, must pass the checkpoints in due time, and reach the goal in time to fight for the overall rankings in each category.
The average length of the route is about 1400 km, with an average elevation of 13,000 m altitude.
This year, three new categories have been introduced: Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
Registrations are currently open until April 25, 2017. The number of entries is limited to a total of 100 participants (solos and couples).
