The Međimurje County Tourist Board has decided to organize a workshop related to the program “Cyclists Welcome”. So far, the program includes accommodation facilities, but the next step is to include restaurants, OPG's and tourist information centers.
Standard quality of “Cyclists Welcome”
Cyclists Welcome is the aim of positioning Međimurje County as a biking destination with high quality services while reviewing the best practices of developed European cyclotourism destinations (such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Denmark ...) who have already developed and applied quality standards.
Cyclists Welcome Quality (CWQ) relates to three basic groups of tourist services:
a. Facilities that offer catering accommodation (and food)
b. Facilities that offer catering services serving food and beverages
c. Tourist Information Centres
The workshop will be held on February 20, 2017 starting at 10.00 in the restaurant Mamica which is located at Čakovečka 47, Pušćine.
