Although each month it seems that the number of cyclists in Croatia increases, many still believe that bikes are simply recreational and should be used for just that. Therein comes "Bike to Work", a campaign eager to break this myth and encourage cyclists to bike to work, regardless of your dress or suit and tie work attire.
Not only will biking to work save time and money, but you’re also doing good for the environment and your health.
The campaign, which runs through September 30, will include prizes for those who sign up, discounts to join the cyclist union “Sindikat biciklista”, and benefits with popular bike rental service “Nextbike”.
This event also falls in line with many “biciklijada” events going on throughout Croatia this month, such as the 5th "Splitska Biciklijada" on September 25.
Organizations from all over Croatia, their departments, and employees are all invited to participate in the campaign promoting the bicycle as a perfect means of work transport.

This campaign began as part of European Mobility Week, which aims to encourage exactly this sustainable way of movement throughout European cities.
